v0.2.5
Minder 0.2.5 speaks MCP protocol 2026-07-28
Notes
Claude Code 2.1.282 probes MCP servers to see whether they speak protocol revision 2026-07-28. Minder 0.2.4 rejected the probe and stayed on the older handshake. This release takes sigil-mcp 0.18.1, so minder answers the probe and works on either revision.
Changes
- Minder answers
server/discoverand gives 2026-07-28 clients the result shape they check for (ttlMsandcacheScopeon tool listings). Clients on the older handshake get the same answers as before. (sigil-mcp 0.18.1) - On a 2026-07-28 connection, which never sends
initialize, the session counts as started on the client's first request, so the reminder scheduler runs. (sigil-mcp 0.18.1) - The sigil-test harness is declared as a dev dependency: sigil-mcp 0.18 brings native TLS code into the graph, and
sigil testneeds the harness for that.
Known regressions
Reminders arrive as channel notifications. Whether Claude Code shows a channel notification on a 2026-07-28 connection has not been verified yet. On the older handshake they work as before.
Verification: unit tests pass (test-config 4), and the built binary answers both protocol revisions correctly.
