From 2026-09-25, Claude Code 2.1.282 negotiates MCP protocol revision 2026-07-28 with courier. Courier 0.3.11 offered that revision but answered in the older shape, so new sessions saw none of courier's tools, and a worker never started reading its relay, so messages from the leader were dropped while the leader was told they were sent. This release takes sigil-mcp 0.18.1, which answers the new revision correctly.

Changes

• New Claude Code sessions see send-message and send-media again, and worker relays connect and deliver leader messages. (sigil-mcp 0.18.1)
• Log field values are quoted, so relay traffic cannot forge log entries. (0.3.11, never tagged separately)
• Relocked onto the Sigil 0.20 toolchain, with monorepo packages pinned as >= ranges, and a native kiln pipeline definition added.

Upgrade notes

Rebuild and relaunch. Sessions already running keep the courier binary they started with, so a worker started on 0.3.11 after the protocol switch has no courier tools until it is relaunched.

Verification: 120/120 unit tests pass. A fresh Claude Code 2.1.282 session, launched through the worker wrapper, lists courier's tools and delivers send-message to a leader relay.
