v0.10.1

The rest of the keyboard: function keys, paging, the punctuation row, the keypad

Notes

A program over sigil-desktop can now bind every key an editor needs. Until 0.10.0 the key symbol table stopped at letters, digits, space, return, escape, tab, backspace, the arrows and the left modifiers; GLFW reported the others and the table dropped them. Crash The Stack's tracker binds FastTracker's key model natively with this release.

Changes

  • key-down?, key-pressed? and key-released? accept f1..f25, page-up/page-down, home/end, insert/delete, right-shift/right-ctrl/right-alt, caps-lock, the punctuation row (comma period slash semicolon apostrophe minus equal left-bracket right-bracket backslash grave, or the character itself as a symbol) and the keypad (kp-0..kp-9, kp-enter, kp-add, kp-subtract). Every 0.10.0 name is unchanged.
  • (key-code key) answers the GLFW key code a symbol names, or #f for a name that is no key, without a window: a binding can be checked before it is used, and the table has a test (test/test-keys.sgl, 44 checks; sigil test builds the native harness through the new dev-dependencies on sigil-test).

Upgrade notes

Relock to ^0.10.1 to pick up the names; nothing else changes.
